Obituary

Curtis Claude Clark, 64, of Newbern, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Curtis was born on October 24, 1956, in Michigan to the late, Bill and Betty Wadkins Clark. He was a retired truck driving instructor for Drive Train in Jackson, TN. Curtis attended Volunteer Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Cherokee Wolf Clan, member and secretary of Hess Lodge #93 of Dyersburg and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Mechanized Cavalry. Curtis enjoyed woodworking and loved his family.

Memorial services will be 4 pm Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Volunteer Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Billy Tucker. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Tucker Clark of Newbern, TN; two sons, Jeff Clark of Finger, TN and Jason Davis of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Amanda Sasser of Medina, TN; two bonus daughters, Kristy Jeans and Marcia Miller, both of Rockford, IL; fourteen grandchildren, Kaylen Repolge (Jordan) of Peachtree, GA, Holden Shamlin (Nicole) of Medina, TN, Reganne Beaty of Medina, TN, Jessica Clark of Dyersburg, TN, Zoey Clark of Savannah, TN, Madison Clark of Dyersburg, TN, Ayden Sasser of Medina, TN, Emma Grace Jeans, Max Jeans, Lily Jeans, Charlie Jeans, Zachary Jeans, Blake Jeans, Lucy Jeans and Kyiah Jeans-Riebschlager, all of Rockford, IL; and two great-grandchildren, Rocky Shamlin and Dakota Davis.

In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Clark.
