Clyde William Farley, 82, of Brighton, formerly of Finley, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Witco of Memphis, 3rd Degree Mason and former Master of Hess Lodge #93, an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and gardener.
Masonic Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Melvin Ashe officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his three daughters, Patricia Jo King of Brighton, Debra Terhune of Atoka and Valarie Thomas of Hernando, MS.; two sisters, Shelia Ratliff and Betty Jean Cutcher, both of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Angela Jo Holley of Munford, Amy Elizabeth Carver of Brighton, Michael Paul Terhune of Texas and Julie Ann Diaz of Drummonds; and six great-grandchildren, Dawson Glenn Carver, Jake O'Neal Carver, Caleigh Nicole Holley, Carlie Jo Pike, Rhianna Sage Terhune and Valarie Elaine Diaz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Goad Farley; his parents, Harry and Hazzle Caudle Farley; a brother, Bub Farley; and a step-brother, Vernon "Coup" Hester.
Pallbearers will be Richard Goad, Barry Farley, Butch Cutcher, Jason Ratliff, Ray Cutcher and Hunter Farley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Goad and Brad Farley.
