Clifton Clarence Rigsby, 80, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Jackson Regional Hospital.
He worked for Dement Construction Company and later retired in 1998 from Payne Steel Erectors and a member of Lenox Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Rudy Ring and Bro. Donald Williams officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Dale Rigsby of Dyersburg; two daughters, Jacquelyn Dorris of Gallatin and Debra Dorris of Madison; a son, Ricky Phillips and wife, Rhee, of Jackson; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mamie Somerville Rigsby; and eight brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be David Haddock, Bob Veal, Duke Turnage, Jim Edgin, Jon Binkley, Monty Long, Brad Studard and J.P. Berkley.
The family requests that memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
