Clifford Burns Nicholson, 65, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Alive Residence Hospice in Nashville.

He was born June 14, 1953 in Clayton, GA, to the late Clifford and Elmer Hamilton Nicholson. He enjoyed motorcycle road trips and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, LuAnn Nicholson, his parents and a sister, Bernice Ritchey.

He is survived by a son, Roy Nicholson and a daughter, June Denise Sellers, both of Dyersburg; his brothers, Tim Nicholson, Jerry, Oscar and Jessie Burton; and sisters, Jean Ramey and Nancy Gibson; grandchildren, Brandon Nicholson, Clifford Nicholson, III, Wendell Shane Nicholson, Makayla Nicholson, Abigail Sellers, Brittany Chane and Marissa Patrick; and his great-grandchildren, Aiden and Kaylee Chane and another expected soon.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
