Claudia Joan Callens, 70, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at her residence.

Claudia was born on May 20, 1951, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Jones Eura Prince and the late Martha Ann Crabtree Prince. She was a registered nurse for the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV and was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Graham and Mr. Macie Roberson officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The Callens Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Finis Daniel Callens of Ridgely, TN; a son, Daniel Prince Callens of Galt, CA; a daughter, Angela Jo Ballard of Ridgely, TN; a brother, Terry Prince of Tiptonville, TN; a sister, Jo Ann Pope of Ridgely, TN; and five grandchildren, Daniel P. Callens, II, Jordan Ballard, Alexis Ballard, Emma Callens and Anna Sophia Callens.

In addition to her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by a special niece, Claudia Renee.

Pallbearers will be Jason Tubbs, Jason Rhamy, Bryan Bargery, Joe Vernon, Corey Glidewell and Jerry Hart. Honorary pallbearers will be David Callens, Karl Callens, Tyree Callens, Jason Callens, Jared Callens, Tim Callens, Joe Callens, Tom Callens, Mickey Callens and Robert Matlock.
