Obituary

Clarence Lee Scott, 87, of Tiptonville, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired bean mill operator for West Tennessee Bean Mill, attended Keystone Church of God and did mechanic repairs on small engines.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at New Haven Cemetery with Mrs. Ruth Green officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his eight grandchildren, Margie Floyd, Debra Scott, Glenn Scott, Johnny Wayne Blakley, Brandi Hawkins, K.J. Scott, Kimberly Scott and Justin Blakley; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Hopper Scott; a daughter, Margie Blakley; two sons, Kenneth Scott and Douglas Scott; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Scott, K.J. Scott, Justin Blakley, Johnny Wayne Blakley, Steve Floyd and Michael Bates.
