Clarence Hubbard "Fritz" Smith's Obituary
Clarence Hubbard "Fritz" Smith, 91, of Ridgely, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at his residence.
He was a retired farmer.
Services will be Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home in Dyersburg conducted by Rev. David Gray. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors Thursday evening 5-8 at the funeral home in Dyersburg.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Carleen Knight Smith of Ridgely; two daughters, Martha Mauldin Jowers of Ridgely, and Margaret Mauldin Hutcheson of Cumberland Furnace, TN; one sister, Doris Spencer of Jackson, TN; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ethel Smith; two brothers, Hayden Smith and Richard Golder Smith; and one sister, Walker Delores Shell.
Pallbearers will be Paul Shell, Chucky Shell, Greg Shell, Scott Shell, Trent Patterson, and Will Shell.
