Cindy Lea Gilliam, 67, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her residence.

Cindy was born on October 28, 1953, in Chicago, IL, to the late, J.W. and Ethel Smith Pierce. She was the kitchen manager of Just Divine Tea Room and was crazy about her kids and grandkids. Cindy loved riding Harley Motorcycles and enjoyed riding horses for the St. Jude Trail Rides.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Goad officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery. The family will receive visitors starting at 11 a.m. until service time at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her three daughters, Nicole Vaughan (Andrew) of Ripley, TN, Rebecca Willis of Newbern, TN and Haley Call of Milan, TN; three sons, Tommy Gilliam (Rebekah) of Murray City, TN, Domonic Willis of Friendship, TN and Billy Gilliam (Theresa) of Middle City, TN; her significant other, Charles Brown, Sr. of Dyersburg, TN; four grandchildren, Patrick Peevyhouse, Joseph Terry, Shelby Peevyhouse and Hannah Reagan; and twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Lee Gilliam; and a brother, William Franklin Pierce.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
