Christy Denise Spoon, age 48, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at her residence.

Christy was born on December 9, 1971 to the late Johnny and Sue Dean Ray. She was a secretary for General Appliance & Furniture Co. Christy attended First United Methodist Church where she served in the nursery for more than 20 years.

A celebration of life for Christy and her husband, Patrick Spoon, who passed away April 11, 2020, will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Mary-Beth Bernheisel.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

A private family interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery at a later date.

Survivors include two daughters, Kayla Smith (Lucas) and Hannah Spoon, both of Dyersburg; one brother, Johnny Ray Jr. of Newbern; One sister, Marsha Bradford (Terry) of Raleigh, NC; and two grandchildren, Ace Smith and Nora Smith.

In addition to her parents, Christy was proceeded in death by her husband, Patrick Spoon.
