Christine Turnbo, 90, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and attended East Dyersburg Methodist Church.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. David Prince and Bro. William Turnbo officiating. Burial will be in McCullough Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her three daughters, Erline Turnbo Dudley of Dyersburg, Nelda Turnbo Ozment and husband, Alex, of Bartlett and Joyce Turnbo Phillips of Finley; a son, J.B. Turnbo of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, Jessica Baker Brown, Samantha Dudley Elgin, Amy Dudley Jones, Jackie Phillips Smith and Jason Phillips; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Turnbo; her parents, Dan and Minnie Hendrix Burns; three sisters, Reba Moore, Jerry Langston and Beatrice Anderson; and two brothers, J.T. Burns and Elmer "Wick" Burns.
Pallbearers will be Paul Brown, Scotty Elgin, Jason Phillips, Tim Jones, James Allen and Bobby Williamson.
