Christine Norman, 77, of Halls, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired housekeeper for American Health Centers in Parsons, TN, member of New Life Fellowship in Ripley, TN, an avid gardener and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Wright and Bro. Steve Woods officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her four daughters, Brenda White of Panama City Beach, FL, Vanessa Burns and Joyce Blurton, both of Halls and Cindy Mays-Donaldson of Dyersburg; three sisters, Bobbie Harris of Newbern, Lorene Bryson and Flossie Fields, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, Charlie Fortner of Kingstree, S.C. and Daniel Fortner of Parsons; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Norman; her parents, Charlie and Mary Hall Fortner; a granddaughter, Tabitha McGee; a sister, Hattie Smith; and three half-brothers, James Fortner, Leon Fortner and Edward Fortner.

Pallbearers will be Neil Warner, Larry Warner, Charles "Bubba" Harris, David Harris, Marty Harris, Daniel Joe Fortner, Bradley Fortner and Ronnie Bryson. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Pearcey, Dallas Burns, Robby McGee and Zach Blurton.
