Chester L. Patterson's Obituary
Chester L. "Patrick" Patterson, 90, of Friendship, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at his residence.
He was a retired Factory Worker, member of Fowlkes Baptist Church, served in the Army Air Force from 1937 to 1950 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Buckley and Rev. Neal Chatham officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Birmingham Patterson; a step-daughter, Myra Birmingham, of Chicago, IL; two step-sons, Benjamin Birmingham, of Carol Stream, IL, and Fletcher Birmingham, of Hudson, OH; three sisters, Beatrice Whitfield and Sarah Thacker, both of Geraldine, AL and Maxine Cryar, of Gadsden, AL; three grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Cordie Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Jason King, Ronnie Shaw, Brian McCanless, Lynn Williams, Robbie Lipker and Larry Fowlkes.
