Chester Fox, 86, of Kenton, TN, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at his residence.

Chester was born on September 28, 1936, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late, Herman Chester Fox and the late Alpha Mae Grissom Fox. After 30 years he retired from Continental Steel in Joliet, IL and later retired from Kroger as a stocker. Chester was a member of the Masonic Matteson Lodge #175 and was a member of the Medinah Shriners. He was the Past Grand Master of the Grand Chapter State of Illinois and was the Past Worthy Patron - Order of the Eastern Star - Dyersburg Chapter #167.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. James Watford officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his two daughters, Cynthia Casagrande and husband, Harry, of Kenton, TN and Cheryl Cook of Trimble, TN; a sister, Daphane Baker and husband, Ed, of Somerville, TN; three grandchildren, Kyle Talkington, Christie Talkington Wilmoth and Tanya Tharpe; five great-grandchildren, Celeste Canada, Evan Canada, Kasten Arwood, Abby Tharpe and Grady Wilmoth; four nephews, Jeremy Kee (Andrea), Glenn Baggett, Ricky Baggett and Danny Baggett; and a niece, Dale Ann Sanderson.

In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Fox; and an infant daughter, Christie Fox.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Kee, Tyler Wilmoth, Paul Talkington, Ed Baker, Jamie Tharpe and Evan Canada.
