Charles Ray Windsor's Obituary
Charles Ray Windsor, 78, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Reelfoot Manor Health & Rehabilitation.
He was born on January 28, 1940, in Centerville, TN, to the late Herbert Commodore Windsor and the late Flora Chessor Windsor. Charles was a retired Correctional Sergeant for Northwest Correctional Complex and was a member of Jones Chapel Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Lonnie Grady officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Vicky Long (Brent) of Wynnburg and Michelle Morgan (Bob) of Tiptonville; three sons, Tim Windsor (Vivian) of Tiptonville, Greg Windsor (Cynthia) of Millington and Michael Wade Moore of Tiptonville; two sisters, Betty Hayes and Georgia Whitson, both of Tiptonville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Miller Windsor.
