Charles "Sonny" Whitman, Jr.'s Obituary
Charles "Sonny" Whitman, Jr., 54, of Dyersburg, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at his residence.
He was an auto body repair technician for Brasfield Body Shop.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Chessor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his son, Gregory David Whitman of Memphis; his mother, Betty Delashmit of Dyersburg; a sister, Valerie Vestal and husband, Tim, of Dyersburg; and two grandchildren, Noah Whitman and Annabelle Whitman.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Whitman.
Pallbearers will be James "Smitty" Smith, Mike Brasfield, Duran Vestal, Barry Fowler, Wayne Vestal and John Whitman, Jr.
