Obituary

Charles Linden Wallace, 79, of Tiptonville, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 at his residence.

He was a retired Biology Teacher for Lake County School System and owned his own caviar business. Charles was a member of the Tiptonville Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon and the song leader. He also was an avid fisherman and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Graveside services for Mr. Wallace will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak with Mr. Wilford Mobley officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Tiptonville Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie Jo Pitts Wallace of Tiptonville; a daughter, Paula Kelley and husband, Danny, of Paris; three sons, Tony Wallace of Tiptonville, Tim McKenzie and wife, Amy, of Dresden and Jack William McKenzie II of Tiptonville; two sisters, Linda Haggard of Dyersburg and Dorothy Dyer of Tiptonville; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Audrey Hogan Wallace.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Wallace, Mark McKenzie, Hart McKenzie, Danny Kelley, Tom Makin and Evan Jones.

The family requests that memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
