Charles Ray Richardson, 79, of Newbern, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at his residence.
He was a retired auto body repairman for Delta Auto Sales and a member of Independent Free Holiness Church.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his three step-sons, Gerald Evans and wife, Teresa, Anthony Evans and wife, Maleia, and Mark Evans, and wife, Elizabeth, all of Dyersburg; two step-daughters, Laticia Hicks of Jackson and Misty Hendren and husband, Tommy, of Dyersburg; two sisters-in-law, Janice Moody and husband, Billy, of Newbern, and Brenda Johns and husband, Kenny, of Jackson; two nieces, Kay Millner of Finley, and Christie Johnson and husband, Randy, and daughter, Jada, of Dyersburg; four nephews, Tony Webb, Ricky Webb, and Gary Webb, all of Dyersburg, and Ryan Gean and wife, Pennie, of Newbern; great nephew and great niece, Theron and Macey Gean of Newbern, who helped care for him; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Richardson; his parents, Raymond and Nancy Vestal Richardson; his daughter, Patty Lynn Richardson; and his sister, Marie Webb.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Gean, Theron Gean, Mark Evans, Anthony Evans, Gerald Evans, and Tony Webb.
