Charles Preston Pugh's Obituary
Charles Preston Pugh, 86, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired truck driver for Film Transit and was a member of Parrish Chapel Baptist Church. Charles was a retired officer for the Dyersburg Police Department and a retired farmer. He was a U.S. Army Sergeant Military Policeman.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Pugh of Dyersburg; a daughter, Kathey Sellers of Jackson; three sons, Robert Pugh of Tiptonville, Michael Paschal of Guadalajara, Mexico and James D. Paschal of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claud, Sr. and Susie Whitney Pugh; three sisters, Kate Brewer, Julie Heathcott and Imogene Brewer; and two brothers, Claude B. Pugh, Jr. and Alexander Pugh.
