Charles Edward Gean, 68, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at his residence.

Charles was born on January 4, 1952, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Stanley and Alice Simmons Gean. He was a retired truck driver for Averitt Express.

The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Jodie Gean of Dyersburg, TN; a step-daughter, Leilani Childress of Dyersburg, TN; three step-sons, Jimmy Childress (Tommie Sue), James "Bubba" Childress and Zach Rudd (Jessica), all of Dyersburg, TN; two brothers, Leon Gean (Faye) and Mark Gean (Cindy), all of Dyersburg, TN; ten grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Gean, Billy Gean and Marvin Gean.
