Charles Buck Brandon, 91, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He retired from Chevrolet Truck Assembly Plant in 1980, a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran serving on the Aircraft Carrier USS Intrepid during World War II and a member of VFW.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Jim Ketchum, pastor of The Christian Sabbath Assembly, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Criswell Brandon of Dyersburg; two daughters, Patsy Marie Hildebrand and husband, Jerry Lee, of Estero, Fla. and Phyllis Lavern Haight and husband, Gregory Clark, of Flint, Mich.; a son, Larry Glen Brandon and wife, Kathy Ann, of Flint, Mich.; a brother, Leon Brandon of Dinuba, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Glen Brandon, Gerald Brandon, Tim Brandon, Greg Brandon, Joey Pruitt, David Ketchum and Danny Atwell.
