Charles Dwight Biggers (The Shoebox Man), 70, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at his residence.
He was a retired self-employed truck driver. He was a member and Sunday School Teacher at McCullough Chapel Baptist Church and a 1961 graduate of Dyersburg High School.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McCullough Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Michaels officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his daughter, Dana Biggers Hallum of Dyersburg; a son, Michael Biggers and wife, Gayle, of Dyersburg; a sister, Patricia Harwood of Lexington; two brothers, Jerry Biggers and wife, Ann, of Ripley and Kenneth Biggers and wife, Cathy, of Dyersburg; and four grandchildren, Brandon Biggers, Bradley Biggers, Mallory Biggers and Nic Sampson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wheeler and Martha Patterson Biggers; a brother, James Edward Biggers; and a grandson, Cameron Glen Sampson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be directed to McCullough Chapel Baptist Church, The Shoebox Ministry, 2277 McCullough Chapel Road, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
