Charles Edward Barham, 73, of Newbern, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

He was born on September 21, 1945, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Shelley and Ola Mae Burkhead Barham. Charles was a retired paramedic for Dyersburg Regional Hospital, where he worked for over 30 years.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his two daughters, Cindy Barham Hughes (Scott) of Newbern, TN and Shelley Barham Patton of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Charles Blake Barham (Jessica) of Newbern, TN; his companion, Cindy Bates Riggs of Newbern, TN; two sisters, Elaine Barham Reddin (Emmett) of Rives, TN and Sheila Kay Barham Cobb of Finley, TN; two brothers, Stoye Barham (Linda) of Finley, TN and Rickey Barham (Kim) of Dyersburg, TN; six grandchildren, Tera Palmer, Joshua Hughes, Emma Reed, Brett Palmer, Landyn Barham, and soon to be, Charleigh Barham; and six great-grandchildren, Kaleaha Palmer, Kaylee Palmer, Drake Palmer, Jayden Hughes and Kaiden Hughes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Noel Barham and Elvis Barham.
