Cathy Ann Sanford Roy's Obituary
Cathy Ann Sanford Roy, 51, of Dyersburg, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and attended Trinity Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mac Daniels officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jammie Sanford James and Brandy Gail Barker, both of Dyersburg; three brothers, Kenneth Junior Sanford, Steven Wayne Sanford and wife, Cindy, and David Adrian Cortes, all of Obion; three grandchildren, Kayla Ann Cox, Jacob Banks and Katlynn Elizabeth Stafford; two nephews; and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Ann Cortes; her father, Kenneth Howard Sanford; three sisters, Betty Jean Sanford, Beverly Elizabeth Sanford and Vicky Lee Sanford; her grandmother, Minnie L. Dickerson; and an uncle, Donald Hopper.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Dyersburg/Dyer County Humane Society.
