Obituary

Carrie Mae Ogden, 75, of Union City, formerly of Bogota, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Southlake Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, IN.

She was a retired sales associate for K-Mart in West Palm Beach, FL, member of Perfect Faith Tabernacle in Troy and a former Pizza Restaurant Manager.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. George Moore and the Rev. Carson Haley officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.

The family will receive visitors from 4:30-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Delbert Ogden of Union City; three daughters, Deborah Burke and husband, Charles, of Merrillville, IN, Sandra Rowlett and husband, Dorris, of Paris and Melinda Sutherland of Lake Station, IN; two sons, Wayne Ogden of Tequesta, FL and John P. Ogden and wife, Patti, of Homewood, IL; a sister, Frances Canada of Dyersburg; two brothers, John Stanley and wife, Christine, of Portage, IN and Charles Stanley and wife, Marylee, of Newbern; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ida Stamps Stanley; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Jo Patterson.

Pallbearers will be Roscoe Roberson, Lynn Ogden, David Ogden, Brian Speed, Howard Petty and Chris Smith.
