Carolyn Loujean Reasons, 78, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at her residence.

Carolyn was born on February 26, 1941, in Big Sandy, TN, to the late L.M. and Madlean Robbins Earp. She was a retired employee with Dyersburg Fabrics and was a charter member of Second Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Hendrix officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Yates (Richard) of Kenton, TN; a son, Robert Tarkington (Sandy) of Dyersburg, TN; three sisters, Lois Jernigan of Hollow Rock, TN, Ruth Rice Combs and Dean Marbrey, both of Dyersburg, TN; six grandchildren, Brandy Brasfield (Brad Haymon), Britney (David) Hendricks, Madison (Zach) Owens, Anna (Garrett) Purvis, Becca Tarkington, and Trey Tarkington; thirteen great-grandchildren, Braxston Rogers, Caroline Rogers, Brylea Rogers, Dalton Preslar, Kyleigh Preslar, Bryton Miller, Zack Hendricks, Tyler Hendricks, Lyvi Hendricks, Chayslee Owens, Zara Owens, Ryker Owens, and Chloe Owens.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Reasons; and three brothers, Lindell Earp, Stanford Earp and Stanley Earp.

Pallbearers will be Brad Haymon, David Hendricks, Zach Owens, Garrett Purvis, Braxston Rogers and Dalton Preslar. Honorary pallbearer will be Trey Tarkington.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Second Baptist Church.
