Carolyn Lavelle Newcomb's Obituary
Carolyn Lavelle Newcomb, 65, of Tiptonville, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her three daughters, Regina Carol Rivers of Tiptonville, Crystal Gail Rivers and Misty Michelle Tate, both of Ridgely; two sons, Billy Randall Matheny of Warrensburg, MO. and Michael Shane Work of Dyersburg; and ten grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Flora Scott Tucker.
Pallbearers will be William Whitson, Tim Tate, Aaron Tate, Preston Childrey, David Hugh Keefe and Tony Quillions.
The family requests that memorials may be directed to LeBonheur Children's Hospital or Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
