Carlton Ray Chamberlain, 78, of Tiptonville, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his residence.
He was a retired millwright for Reelfoot Lumber Co. and an avid fisherman. Ray was a Christian and a man of God.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Wynnburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Chessor officiating. Burial will be at Keefe Cemetery in Tiptonville.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m Thursday at Wynnburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Terry Chamberlain and wife, Denese, of Union City; two daughters, Darlene Simmons, and husband, Craig, of Union City, and Tammy Leland, and husband, Mickey, of Tiptonville; one brother, Jay Chamberlain of Qulin, MO; one sister, Jeanette Miller of Richland, MO; sixteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lamb Chamberlain; his parents, Callie and Febbie Kilpatrick Chamberlain; a son, Danny Ray Chamberlain; and three brothers, Rubert Chamberlain, Tommy Chamberlain, and Kallie Chamberlain.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Mike Simmons, Dakota Leland, Danny Chamberlain II, Eric Chamberlain, Dustin Riggs, and Kwame Jenkins.
