Carl Seaton, 84, of Dyersburg, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
He was retired as owner and operator of Carl Seaton Construction Company, member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ and an U.S. Army Veteran of Korean War.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Scott Owen officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Karla Seaton Chitwood and husband, John, and Melody Seaton Clutts and husband, Tommy, all of Dyersburg; two sons, Terry Seaton and wife, Deb, and Ben Seaton, all of Dyersburg; three sisters, Lavenia Pruitt of Dyersburg, Dixie Willis and Betty Willis, both of Newbern; seven grandchildren, Joey Clutts, Angela Lee, Kyle Seaton, Tyler Seaton, Victoria Williamson, Amy Chitwood and Anna Kate Hatch and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Angella Seaton; a son, Victor Seaton; his parents, Benjamin and Melissa Warren Seaton; two sisters, Brenda Kemp and Dean Lambert; and two brothers, Randy Seaton and Kenneth Seaton.
Pallbearers will be Joey Clutts, Kyle Seaton, Tyler Seaton, Jared Lee, Hunter Hatch and Seth Williamson. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim McCraw.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Parr Avenue Church of Christ.
