Mr. Carl Don Essary, of Dyersburg, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at Okeena Health & Rehabilitation Center.  Carl was born in the Nauvoo community on February 18, 1942 to the late Herbert & Edith Essary.  He worked for many years in construction as an iron-worker for large building projects.

Carl is survived by his children, Chris Essary of Michigan and Angie Essary Lynch of Indiana and a sister, Regina Essary Munson of Dyersburg, TN.  He was also loved as "Grandpa" by his grandchildren, Alex & Nicholas Essary and Maddie & Andrew Lynch and was a loving uncle to his nieces Chelcie Munson & Candi Still and nephew Edward Munson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ranny Essary and sister, Anita Lisawski and grandchildren, Christopher Essary and Catlyn Lynch.

Cremation arrangements are in care of Dyersburg Funeral Home and a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg will be announced at a later time.
