Obituary

Calvin "Bee" Sharpe, 90, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.

He was a retired tool & die maker for American Metal. Bee also worked at Sylvania and Heckethorn Manufacturing. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg.

A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Dave Parish officiating. Burial will be in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 9-10 a.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Cleo Ann Brasher of Dyersburg; a daughter, Debbie Saddler of West Palm Beach, FL; a son, Michael Sharpe and wife, Melissa, of Outlook, WA; his nephew, Donald Sharp of Memphis; five grandchildren, Chris Sharpe and wife, Danielle, of Pasco, WA, Amber DeRuyter and husband, Dan, of Zillah, WA, Todd Sharpe and wife, Johanna, of Grandview, WA, Jennifer Lott of Nashville, and Brian Saddler of Alaska; and several great-grandchildren.

Bee was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nell Graves Sharp; a sister, Inez Roby; and three brothers, Jack Sharp (father of Donald Sharp), Cal Sharp, and Ralph Sharpe.

Pallbearers will be Gary McGill, Bill Baker, Harold Leech and Larry Kimbell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to First Baptist Church-Dyersburg, the American Cancer Society, or to your favorite charity.
