Caden Alan Burkett, 12, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence.

He was a student at Lake County Middle School, where he was a member of the Student Council and manager of the football team. Caden was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church. He loved to ride four wheelers and play online video games.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Cottonwood Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Adams and Ryder Burkett officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the church.

Survivors include his parents, James Burkett and Jill Blair Burkett of Ridgely; a brother, Ryder Burkett of Jackson; his grandparents, Jerry W. and Earlene Blair of Wynnburg and Bert and Wanda Burkett of Ridgely; two aunts, Vicky Blair of Humboldt and Regina Rhodes of Ridgely; and three uncles, Phillip Burkett of Ridgely, Larry Burkett of Dyersburg and Gerald Burkett of Tiptonville.

Pallbearers will be James Burkett, Ryder Burkett, Gerald Burkett, Skylar Shelton, Garrett Shelton, Danny Goodman, Jr., Danny Goodman, III and James Dial. Honorary pallbearers will be Harrison Barnes, Brad Barnes, Forrest Patterson, Jacob Mahan, Josh Cox and Ryan Kelley.
