Buddy Staggs' Obituary
Buddy Staggs, 69, of Tiptonville, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his residence.
He was a retired farmer.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Mahan officiating. Burial will be in Sanders Chapel Cemetery in Union City.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Staggs of Tiptonville; three daughters, Shannon Mitchell of Tiptonville, Mary Tatum of Union City and Angela Flowers of Tiptonville; a sister, Glenda Bing of Union City; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ciley McClain Staggs; three sisters, Vada Crowell, Jeannie Staggs and Carline Staggs; and two brothers, David Staggs and Floyd Staggs.
Pallbearers will be Josh Tolley, Travis Tatum, Joseph Flowers, Daniel Flowers, Ricky Tatum, Charles Pendergrass and Buddy McAlister. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Sherrill, Roy Rogers and Donnie Tolley.
