Mr. James Wade "Bubba" Ramsey, Jr., 57, of Tiptonville, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his residence.

James was born July 1, 1967 in Dyersburg, TN, to Jeanette Free and the late James Ramsey, Sr. He is remembered for his outgoing nature and sense of humor, always with a joke to tell. He enjoyed time with family and friends spent outdoors, fishing, hunting or riding atvs.

James is survived by his mother, Jeanette Free; his sister, Lori Hopper; his son, Dustin Wade Ramsey; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and one grandson.

A memorial service for James "Bubba" Ramsey, Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the Christ Church Baptist Fellowship in Millsfield. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family ask that memorial contributions be directed to his funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
