Bro. Paul Junior Bramlett, age 80, of Ridgely. Tn. passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tn.  Paul was a retired heavy equipment operator for the State of Tn.  He has been a minister for 45 years. He was pastor at Phillippy Baptist Church and still served as needed at various churches.  He was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.  He was a US Navy Veteran.  Paul was an avid hunter, fisherman, singer, harmonica player, carpenter, and he shot a mean game of pool.

Funeral Services for Mr. Paul Bramlett will be Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 3:30pm at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, conducted by Bro. Carl Southerland.  Visitation will begin 5 pm on Saturday at the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home.  Interment will be at New Haven Cemetery near Ridgely.

Paul was born on Aug. 10, 1938 to the late Paul Albert Bramlett and Annie Sue Scott Bramlett.  He married Faye Bramlett, who survives him. iHe is survived by three daughters, Sherry Essendrup(Steve), Ypsilanti, Mi., Wanda Tolley(Bill), of Ridgely, and Pennye Stroud(Paul), of Union City, Tn., two sisters Nancy Autry, Chicago, Ill. and Sandra Shipley, of Nashville, Tn., a brother Billy Bramlett, of Rives, Tn. and a stepbrother, Alford Scott, of Alamo, Tn. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, John French, Jr., Ashley Bartlett, Rick Bailey, Trisha McCoy, Anna Bailey, Greg Bailey, Natalie Tolley, Courtney Welch, Zach Tolley, and Skyler Slaughter, and sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter Dianne French.

Pallbearers will be Zach Tolley, Skyler Slaughter, RicK Bailey, Greg Bailey, Johnny French and Shane Boyd.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Tolley, Steven Essendrup and Paul Stroud.
