Brenda Joyce Vestal, 76, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Shepherd of The Hills Living Center.

Brenda was born on July 14, 1947 in Dyersburg, TN, to the late John P. and Emma L. Adkins Smith. She worked in the depreciation department for Southwestern Bell for 30 years. Brenda enjoyed going to Silver Dollar City and the movies with her family. She loved her grandchildren and her family very much.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, conducted by Mr. Barry Fowler. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Stephanie Vestal, Amy Vestal, Greg Vestal, Tim Vestal, Jamie Vestal, Jake Cagle and Ralph Shults will be honored to serve as pallbearers.

The Vestal Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Donald Dwayne Vestal of St. Louis, MO; her daughter, Donna Wertz of Branson, MO; two sisters, Bertha Leigh Castillo of Houston, TX and June Estelle Wright of Barnhart, MO; and two grandchildren, Thomas Wertz and Elizabeth Wertz.
