Brenda Sue Patterson's Obituary
Brenda Sue Patterson, 68, of Dyersburg, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at her residence.
She was a retired clerk for Q-Mart and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Gina Patterson; three sisters, Linda Bland and Sandy Sanchez, both of Dyersburg, and Doris Timmer of The Villages, Fla.; four brothers, Billy Reed Young of Lenox, Jimmy "Tex" Young and Willie Young, both of Dyersburg, and Luther Young Jr. of Finley; four grandchildren, Kyle Thurmond, Craig Thurmond, Chelsea Patterson and Jerrica Patterson; and two great-grandchildren, Terry Crihfield and Lulyana Crihfield.
She was preceded in death by her son, James "Bubba" Patterson; her parents, Luther and Norma Dorothy Young; and three brothers, David Young, Pete Young and Bubba Young.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Dyersburg-Dyer County Humane Society.
