Obituary

Bradley Nathan Strain, 39, of Hornbeak, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

He was self-employed, worked as a correctional officer at Northwest Correctional Complex for 14 years and was an avid horseman.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Tiptonville First Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Carr officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.

Survivors include his wife, Shelley Black Strain of Hornbeak; three daughters, Jessica Strain Gardner and Kelly Strain, both of Dyersburg and Brooke Strain of Hornbeak; a son, Bradley Nathan Strain Jr. of Hornbeak; his parents, Nathan and Brenda Strain of Tiptonville; and two sisters, Terri Lynn Griffin of McKenzie and Amanda Hearn of Tiptonville.

Pallbearers will be Chase Griffin, Jeremy Hearn, Brent Griffin, Kelly Tippit, David Ayers, Courtney Gardner and William Butler.
