Obituary

Mr. Bobby Ray Wiggins departed this earthly realm and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 9, 2025.  The family will receive visitors at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.  A celebration of Bobby's life and funeral services with visitation, preceding, will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Archie Larry.  Bobby will be laid to rest at New Haven Cemetery in the Madie Community, near Ridgely, TN.

Bobby was born at his family's home on February 3, 1969, in Tiptonville, TN to the late Reverend Goble and Brenda Wiggins, Sr.   He is preceded in death by his loving parents and his sister, Theresa.  Bobby grew up in a large family of brothers, sisters and cousins within the Lake County area where he acquired many friends, whom he loved as family.  These friends loved him in return, just the same.  Those who knew him and loved him best would often refer to him as "Gremlin".  He was a precious, dear little brother to his four living brothers and sisters, and a menace, hero and friend, all at the same time to his little sister.  Bobby married his beautiful wife and love of his life, Cheryl, on the pier behind the former Reelfoot Lake Museum and Ellington Hall on September 11, 1992.  Together, they brought two wonderful, kind sons into the world and raised them into good men.  Over the years, their family grew to include two precious granddaughters who love their grandparents wholeheartedly.  Bobby and Cheryl created a beautiful family together where Bobby was honored to take on the roles of loving husband, father and grandfather.

Bobby is survived by his wife, of 33 years, Cheryl Wiggins, sons; James Wiggins and Brandon Wiggins, his granddaughters Raegan Wiggins and Lily Grace Wiggins, and brothers and sisters; Goble Wiggins, Jr. (Mary) and Michael Wiggins, Mary Warren (Michael), Janet Gillihan and Jennifer Burks (Kyle).

Bobby knew his Lord and Savior and was a member of the Living Word Church in Hornbeak, Tn.  He would proclaim his love of Jesus to any listening ear.  Bobby was prepared to meet his Creator and Heavenly King.  One of his final wishes was to be with all those he had loved, over the years, inside Heaven's gates.
