Bobby Lynn Sneed, 64, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on June 1, 1958, in Ripley, TN to the late William T. Sneed and Loretta Walker. Bobby was a correctional officer for Northwest Tennessee Correctional Complex for 30 years and also worked part-time at the Dyersburg Mall as a security guard. Bobby was a hard worker, enjoyed fishing and was an animal lover. He was a devoted Christian and was a member of River of Life Church. Bobby's heart was with his wife, who he dearly loved but his greatest love in life was his family. He proudly served his country in the Tennessee National Guard.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023 at River of Life Church with Bro. Clayton Mahan officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the church.

Survivors include his two daughters, Misty Sneed Shaw (Marvin) of Tiptonville, TN and Brittany Stanley (Trey) of Ridgely, TN; two sons, Bobby Joe Sneed of Indiana and Brock Hodoe of Tiptonville, TN; a sister, Sandy Sneed of Tiptonville, TN; three brothers, Kevin Williams (Devvie) of Munford, TN, Timothy Sneed of Alexandria, VA and Jeff Sneed (Holly) of Ripley, TN; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Delores Sneed; two brothers, James Allen Sneed and Billy Ray Sneed; a sister, Devona Williams; and his step-father, Paul Williams.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Sneed, Michael Sneed, Marvin Shaw, Bradley Davis, Cameron Basham, Dylan Sneed and James Tyler Stanley. Honorary pallbearer will be Burt Dunavant.
