Bobby Lynn Sikes, 67, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Desoto, MS.

Born on July 22, 1958, in Dyersburg, TN, he was the beloved son of the late Ralph and Maxine Littlejohn Sikes. Bobby was a self-employed farmer, pilot, and crop duster, known for his love of duck hunting, getting up early, and being outside. A member of the Spirit and Truth Church, he was affectionately known as a 'junk yard dog' by those who knew him well. Bobby had a deep love for people and dogs, and he cherished watching Alex play 'Cooter' basketball and listening to Conner tell whoppers, especially after Conner received the 'Whopper Award' in kindergarten.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2025 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Chapman and Bro. Jim Branscum officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lee Ann Sikes of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Bobby Lynn Sikes II and future daughter-in-law, Lauren Caudle, both of Memphis, TN and Lee Jay Sikes of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, James D. Sikes of Bogota, TN; a sister, Syble A. Carter of Dyersburg, TN; and three grandchildren, Dylan Sikes of Hot Springs, AR and Alex Sikes and Connor Sikes, both of Cooter, MO.

Pallbearers will be Robert Pace, Johnnie Finley, Ricky Via, Shane Hamilton, Kevin Biggs, Johnny Hooper, Scott Foster, Matthew Humphrey and Macky Forsythe. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Ricky Churchwell, Sammy Horner and Mike Atkins.
