Bobby L. Rooney's Obituary
Bobby L. Rooney, 67, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired machinist for Heckethorn Manufacturing and was a member of The Shelter for the Sheep. He was an avid fisherman and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 12-1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughter, Farrah Rooney and fiancé, James Burt, of Indianapolis, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelyn Frances Rippitoe Bates.
The family requests that memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
