Mr. Bobby William Lowery, Sr, age 76, of Dyersburg, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

He was born June 11, 1942 in Halls, Tennessee to the late John William and Rosa Vaughn Lowery.  He was a member of West Dyersburg church of Christ and spent over 36 years working for Colonial Rubber and M.A. Hanna Companies as a production foreman.  In his retirement years, he stayed active as a newspaper delivery driver.  He loved to be on the water, fishing and duck hunting. His family says that wherever he went, he never met a stranger.  He especially loved being "Papaw" to all of his grand and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Jane Lowery, his daughter, Mindy Clark and husband, Billy, of Dyersburg, his grandchildren, Brandi Baker, Blake Lowery and wife, Melissa, Cody Lowery and wife, Jae, Jonathan Lowery and wife, Erica, all of Dyersburg and Adam Lowery and wife, Marissa, of St. Louis, Mo. and Christian Clark, of Gallatin, TN as well as six great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Bobby Lowery, Jr.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 in the Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Mr. Jim Chamblee.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.
