Bob Larry Hendrix, 78, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
He was born on June 7, 1938 in Lenox, TN to the late, George Freeman Hendrix and the late Clara Louise McCullouch Hendrix. Bob was a retired foreman at Dyersburg Fabrics, where he worked for 29 years. He was a deacon and member of Hurricane Hill Presbyterian Church. Bob served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hurricane Hill Cemetery with Bro. Donnie Ragsdale officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The Hendrix family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Manuela Hendrix of Dyersburg; two daughters, Sandra Riddick (Mike) of Dyersburg and Lori Hendrix (Jason) of Trenton; a son, Jeff Hendrix (Lisa) of Oceanside, CA; four brothers, Tom Hendrix and John Hendrix, both of Indiana, Joe Hendrix and Ronnie Hendrix, both of Dyersburg; and three grandchildren, Tucker Hopkins, Hailey Hendrix and Zach Hendrix.
Pallbearers will be Randy Brooks, Charles Ozment, Ricky Petty, Johnny Keeling, Mike Riddick and Gary Wygant.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
