He was born November 28 th , 1934 in Wynne Arkansas to Autie Lavert and O.S. Stout. Growing up in Arkansas, Blan first attended Arkansas State University where he met his wife, Faith. They both then transferred to Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Theology. Continuing to fulfill his calling and passion, in the 80's, Blan built a church in Bella Vista, Arkansas from the ground up, where to this day, hundreds of families have been ministered to and richly blessed. During his ministry, he was faithful to donate his time to missions around the world. He helped build churches in Honduras in the 60's and 70's. He also loved traveling. One of his favorite trips was taking fellow church members to Israel to learn more about the Holy Land. Blan was known for his big smile and laughter, lighting up every room he entered.
