Billy Carl Weaver, Sr., 81, of Hayti, MO, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at his residence.

He was a retired farmer, member of Cumberland Street Church of Jesus Christ in Dyersburg and a U.S. Army Veteran of Korean War.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cumberland Street Church of Jesus Christ with Bro. Nick Wright officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Nettie Jean Weaver of Hayti, MO; two daughters, Barbara Ann Weaver Mumme of Dyersburg and Dorothy Chambers of Mayfield, KY; four sons, Billy C. Weaver, Jr. of Dresden, Billy Joe Weaver and Milan Thomas Weaver, Sr., both of Hayti, MO and Johnny Burzinski and wife, Dawn, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a sister, Millie Murphy of Dyersburg; two brothers, Milton Weaver of Dyersburg and David Weaver of Roellen; sixteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Wayne Weaver, Sr.; his parents, R.B. and Wilma Lovins Weaver; two sisters, Sue Sharron and Ann Dodd; two brothers, Raymond Weaver and Robert Weaver; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Weaver, Michael Childress, Austin Weaver, Terry Weaver, Jr., Bro. Brian Wilson and Bro. Tim Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Carlton, Brian Houghtby, James Kail and Michael Brown.
