Mr. Billy Eugene Sanders, age 66, of Bogota, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Dyersburg on May 27, 1957 to the late Bill & Rosie Sanders.  He spend many years working in agriculture before joining the Dyer County Highway Department as a mechanic.  There was nothing he could not fix or was afraid to take on.  In his free time, he loved building and racing cars as well as all types of hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Sanders, his sons Danny & Mark Sanders, his daughters, Crystal Rodriguez & Amanda Douglas, his brother, Jerry Sanders, his sister, Susan Wilson.  He loved spending as much time as he could with his fourteen grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Betsy Carroll & Judith Galloway.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Bro. Mac Daniels.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Douglas, John Paul Cross, Bubba Seiber, Matthew Seiber, Cody Meyer and Naseem Shaikh. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy's co-workers at the Dyer County Highway Dept.
