It is with great sadness to announce, Billy Ax Mack "Mack Attack" Jones, 48, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 18, 2021. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Billy Mack was born on October 24, 1972, in Dyersburg, TN, to Shirley Griggs Williams and the late Marshall Jones. Billy attended Dyersburg High School and was an exceptional basketball player. Anyone who knew Billy knew he was loving, funny and generous. He had immense passion for making people around him laugh with joy.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Bailey officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Elizabeth Jones; his three sons, Elijah Keith Jones, Isaiah Kholl Jones & Meshack Mack Jones; his two daughters, Billie Jo Elizabeth Jones & Seiven Dawn Temple Jones. He is fondly remembered by his mother, Shirley T. Jones-Williams and step-father George Williams; sister, Martha Honkomp; sister, Dorothy Jones Mims and brother-in-law, David C. Mims; sister, Jackie Jones; sister, Jenny Jones; sister, Lisa Lowery and brother-in-law, Walter Lowery; brother, David Jones; sister, Mary Jones and brother-in-law, Phillup Jones; and brother, Willie Jones and sister-in-law, Sueax Jones; half-sisters, Catherine Rosario and Dottie Toles; and a half-brother, James Jones.
In addition to his father, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his half-sisters, Rose Ogg, Estelle Jefferies and Martha Jones; a half-brother, Robert Jones; a sister, Sally Lyons and brother-in-law, James Lyons; and two brothers, Bobbie Jones and Jimmy Jones.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Lowery, Walter Lowery, Gerhard Honkomp, Robert Honkomp, Todd Honkomp, David Wayne Pilkerton, Elijah Jones and Isiah Jones.
