Billy "Red" Joyce, age 69, of Tiptonville, TN passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at his residence.

Billy was born on January 31, 1952 in Mooring, TN to the late Cas Newton Joyce and Maggie Neely Manns Joyce. Billy worked as a roofer and tree cutter in and around Lake County. He attended the Ridgely Pentecostal Church and loved trading, collecting and bartering with antiques. Billy loved to fish and hunt for marbles and arrowheads. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home - Ridgely Chapel conducted by Bro. Clayton Mahan. Interment will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11-2 at Dyersburg Funeral Home - Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include his estranged wife, Cynthia Joyce of Tiptonville; one son, Billy Cas Joyce of Tiptonville; one daughter, Maranda Jean Joyce of Tiptonville; one brother, Finis Joyce of Lake Commarant, MS; three sisters, Bonnie Stoneburner (Tom) of Ridgely, Barbara Henson (Lilbern) of Ridgely, and Betty Hopper (Tommy) of Hornbeak; and six grandchildren, Bryce T. Joyce, Hayden Coudriant, Gavin Joyce, Chase Joyce, Raven Goodwin, and Joey Joyce.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceeded in death by three brothers, Bobby "Bub" Hodoe, James "Shorty" Joyce, and Ernest "Jr." Joyce.

Pallbearers will be Thomas "Bubba" Stoneburner, Tony Stoneburner, Jarrod Prince, Gerald Prince, Jamie Hodoe, and Dennis Henson.
