Billy Dean Jones, 89, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at his residence.

He was born on May 23, 1935, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Isaac Dudley Jones and Bessie Daniel Jones. Billy worked at Dyersburg Fabrics and ERMCO. He was a dedicated member of Southside Baptist Church, where he played the piano for over 55 years. He loved to work in his yard, keep their vehicles cleaned, and travel. Billy also enjoyed taking care of his family.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Loren Stephens officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1-2:45 p.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Joyce Phillips Jones of Dyersburg, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Davis; five brothers, Joseph Dudley Jones, Daniel Wesley Jones, Thomas Isaac Jones, Jesse Ray Jones and Maurice Jones; and two sisters, Virginia Frances Jones McBride and Daurice Jones Sentell.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
