Billy Davis, 88, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Harborview Health Systems of Dyersburg.

Billy was born on August 11, 1931, in Rutherford, TN. He was a retired mechanic with Sawyers Union 76 Station.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Davis Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his two daughters, Mary Moody (Kenneth) of Dyersburg, TN and Lisa Prater (Ronnie) of Ripley, TN; a son, Billy E. Davis (Renee) of Cleveland, TX; ten grandchildren, Crystal Warden, Kaylee Davis, Misty Cogdell (Steven), James Baker, Mallory Gardner, Tristin Wilson, Brandon Coker (Liz), Ronald Prater, Jr., Jennifer Prater and Alicia Prater; and ten great-grandchildren.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Davis; a son, Barry Davis; his parents; and several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Preston Warden, Zack Warden, Bradley Robertson, Glen Adkins, Kenneth Moody and Robert Warden.
